    best inexpensive bow sight?

fixin' to buy a new site - wow you can sure spend some money on those. but sometimes there's a good product out there that doesn't cost an arm and leg and works as well (or better) as the high dollar products.

anybody got a sight like that? what if I put a $75 limit on it? suggestions?

I would def suggest the Tru Glo Tru Site Extreme. Great site and it retails for around $50. Dont get it confused with the Bright Site Extreme though.

My goodness the sites you can get for $75.00 or less is endless. Toxonics just came out with the Wrangler series 5pin micro adjust for 74.00 Cobra makes the Stealth for only 40.00 Boomslang and Extreme makes the Challenger a very strong site. Tru Glo has the Extreme and the Compact Extreme and there are many others.

I'm a Spot Hogg junkie so I would probably try to find a nice, used Spot Hogg or I would buy the new Spot Hogg Bulletproof sight. Lifetime warranty. Great customer service. I own 2 Spot Hogg sights and wouldn't think of switching to any other brand currently on the market. Then again.........that's just me.

thanks for the feedback. am gonna go with something other than a single pin sight. and wouldn't mind one that can be adjusted w/o me having to find my allen wrenches that always seem to walk off on me!

also any thoughts on vertical pins vs horizontal pins? never shot verticals - what's that like?

Not a fan of the vertical pins, but that is just me. I think it comes from years of shooting horizontal pins. Lotsa folks shoot them and are fine with it, but it just inst for me.

You should really try the .019 pins. They helped me shoot better.

x2 even went to .010 after going to .019. Helped even more, but if you are set on .029 let me know. I have a good sight well with in your price range.
