made with a sewing machine motor i drilled and tapped the shaft with a left handed thread found a collar that would fit a 1/4" shaft so the disc would have something to rest against and center it on the shaft so it spins true. Cuts carbon arrows very well no splittering. Works awesome.

        Excellent job.

Could you post close up pics of he gizmo that the nock fits onto and exactly how/where the end of the arrow contacts the disc? Does the saw/disc swivel/rotate/slide onto the arrow needing cut or do you slide the whole arrow into the disc? Call me dense.

Yea I'm a bit dense too. Looks like you move the arrow into the blade. That's how the one at BassPro is too...

yes you move the arrow into the saw and once it cuts through the wall you rotate the arrow 360 degrees this will ensure you have a square cut on the end of the arrow elliminating ASD's (arrow squaring devices). Yes i will tryo to get some more pics of the knock for you guys ill try to get them tomorrow im working nights right now so it will be tommorow after noon.

            thanks for the compliments

dont have a clue what rpm it is it came off of an old sewing machine cuts carbon arrows fine no splittering what so ever you just have to take it easy and dont hurry your cut just let it do the cutting and feed it a little at a time.
