    My new pig cooker

    I always wanted a pig roaster so, of course i made one. These pics are at the GCFR BBQ cookoff this year.

    I am going to build a frame for the sheet metel wind break so it doesnt look so red neck (as if the whole thing isnt red neck enough)

      You don't have that galvanized panel exposed to the flame do you? That could be dangerous!!!!

            After cooking it for 11 hours it was oiley. I had in mind to break it all up and make pork tacos with it but by the time i got done i was wore out. The meat had a good flavor where i injected it but it would have been better chopped up. This pig had the skin on so i might brine the next one to see if that helps.
            There were to teenage boys that came by and wanted some so i gave them the hams. They walk around chewing on them half the night.

            As for the tin it got blown in to the fire by the wind. We moved it out side. Thats why i need to build the frame to hold the wind break.
