    Brick backsplash

Customer had a bunch of left over brick and wanted to use in backsplash with some accent work. Thought it turned out nice and something unique. Sorry for the poor lighting. My portable light is all I had

              Very beautiful work.

A brick or stone backsplash would be a disaster for me. I'm like a mad scientist when I cook...I splash sh*t everywhere! If I can clean it off with a wet, soapy dishrag at the end of the day, it'll look gross by the end of the week!

Did you cut the face of the brick or use it whole?
                Looks really nice.

Faces cut off and end cuts to make the border 3D

Dang! That sounds like a BUNCH of labor, but hey, it’s just money right.

The finished product looks really good.

Guessing you seal just like you would a stone or tile?

                        Thanks

Correct. I will seal it same as stone and silicone all transitions. I completed 1 shower here last week and have 1 more in the master bath next week and I’ll just have 1 day that I will dedicate to caulking.

Very nice looking all the way around. I would be proud to have something like that in my home.

You got some made brick laying skills, that looks great.

Man, that looks fantastic and isn't like the backsplash in every other house. Very very nice!
