    Wood paint

I'm into a skee ball restoration project. Will post a thread from beginning to end once I get a chance. Picked this up from Rubberdown...

My question, should I be concerned on the levelness of the material on the sides? I have it close in most spots minus the edges. Should I add wood filler or while a certain type of paint do what I need? Been filling most imperfections with Durhams rock hard water putty.

Paint won't cover any imperfections. It will only make it more obvious.

Never have used durhams but bondo works really well.

It’s about the same as bondo except less forgiving

Probably get more attention if I made this a livescope or high fence title.

Yeah paint will show everything. I was going to ask if lightweight polyester filler will stick to that. Could slap that on there and then block sand it pretty easy and would look real nice.

I’m glad to see you are getting it cleaned up. I would have never gotten to it.
