Sitting here by the fireplace, I finally had a chance to post up some pictures from about a month ago of the foodplot, it has actually probably been the best I've planted in the last 5 years! A few points to consider that I did different this year..
*I had a clear plot starting no weeds thanks to the drought.
*I doubled my seed output on the field.
*Most importantly I did not over work the soil by plowing it multiple days, just 3 passes thus keeping much of the soil moisture in the ground where its needed.
