I am really good at drinking beer, taking breaks, and starting new projects.

Not so good at completing them. Life gets in the way.

In order, a walnut mount for my first arrowed deer, a purpleheart and marble wood cigar ashtray with epoxy filling the voids, I redid my bathroom cabinets with paint and still kept the oak grain, I built my mantel, adding live edge walnut floating shelves, took a chair from the 60s completely apart and refinished it...

My first project I had really ever tried to do was build a shed. I did it from scratch without much help. Tons and tons and tons of YouTube videos. I did everything. Even Thanksgiving Day 2017 I was up there finishing the roof. It is now my woodworking shed. It is what started it all...

Puzzle for my son, with family photos underneath, outdoor dice, my son's first Easter egg basket, maple ashtray, and finally, a shiplap accent wall in the nursery.

Many talented folks on this forum!!

If any of you want to make me a nice. (When I say nice, last me till I croak) cutting board. I will gladly pay good money. I value quality and workmanship.

I want a solid cutting board. That is bigger than you think it should be. For chopping. Slicing. Dicing. And able to take some abuse. The shape. That's the complicated part. Rectangle.

I dabble, but nothing of the caliber of some on this thread.

                          Few cornhole sets I’ve made.

Dresser my wife picked up. This is when she got it from the lady.

                          Stripping it down.

                          Putting it back together.

                          Final product.

What do you seal the surface of the corn hole boards with? I'm thinking of making a set for the house.

I’ve just used polyurethane. I’ve done the can applied with a rag and the spray. Pretty similar results from both. My personal boards I keep in the garage. Pretty rough on them to leave them outside in the elements all the time.
