Not wanting to use wood for the sides of teh trailer just do not want stuff to slide through. Only a 4x9 trailer and not very tall on the sides. What has teh green screen used in the past? Any pics would be help ful as well. Thanks

Ideas for a Utility Trailer - Sides
I just did this to my 20’ trailer.
I used 3/4”-#9 flat expanded metal just as recommended above. It’s a h3ll of a lot of welding but turned out great.
I had to cut some openings for my big D rings outside as there was not room for new ones inside expect at the front.
I’ll post a few pics but can text more if you will PM me.

Jesse,
So here is a metals catalog from Alamo Iron Works (here in SA). The expanded metal is shown on page 10. That might help or it might not.

Depending on where you are in town, might depend on where you buy. I haven't been to the AIW location off AT&T Pkwy in years (used to work there), but Triple S Steel (who owns AIW now) has a big location off Hwy 90 down by Kelly.
