Reese Goosebox Air Fill Upgrade

Ordered a brand new Reese Goosebox for our new to us 5th wheel. Friends and family use them I truly think it’s a great product. Photos online show the air valve mounted to the catch for the ball release which is how very one I’ve seen is set up. Mine has the fill up underneath which is a huge pain given it has to be hitched up when inflating while you watch a sight window in the side. I called Reese and was told photos on the web are the old design, if it wasn’t supposed to be on there it would be. Zero help. They sell the part of course, for $300. Obvious money grab. Didn’t work on me

Nice upgrade.

I was going to buy the Goosebox but ended up going with the Gen Y torsion hitch. I didn’t want to have to deal with the airbag each time I towed and I consider it a wearable part along with the shock absorbers. No doubt they work well but I’ve been very happy with my Gen Y as well.
