I probably wouldn't sleep at night if I had a set up like that. I'd look like my daughter on her phone all the time.

I have around $1800 in everything +-$100 bucks. This does not include labor. I’m currently in outage at work and don’t have another off day until May 29th. I can run out there after work and put out feed before and if I do drop the gate I can stop by after work and take care of them.
Are you using weld on/barrel hinges to connect the panels to one another?

I tacked a piece of 1/8” thick flat bar and then welded a piece of 3/4” ID pipe on the pieces of flat bar then welded solid to the square tubing. The 1/8” flat bar makes a big difference in getting a little more space to put your pin in. I used 3/4” x 12” long anchor bolts as pins. I only put a nut on the top pin.
Don't laugh at my welds, I'm still teaching myself to weld.

Cellular Hog Trap
No hogs in Montana- thank God.
From my Cali days trapping on s depro permit, we found getting the soft strawberries and plums a food store removed from the sales area and trash made the killer bait. If you put the fruit in a 5 gallon bucket with the top screwed on for a few days in the sun it fermented into a pungent, sweet mush. It kinda smelled like Japanese saki.
If you ask the produce manager, he’ll probably say “why not?”.
Cali hogs came running in for it. You may want to try it in your trap.
Don’t use celery, though. I’ve seen 50 pounds of mixed vegetables eaten and they would not touch celery. Go figure!
