Barrel Bluing

what kind of container are you using for the hot water to re blue a barrel? I know the green screen has great ideas. Thanks

I used a piece of gutter and folded up the ends to hold water

I’d prefer a stainless tray but whatever you use clean it super well. Are you using a salt bluing bath?

Unsure yet. Just looking for ideas to use on a barrel. Also what temp water do you guys like using?

I rust blued and needed boiling water for the rinse. Heated on a 3 burner coleman.

Where would you get a stainless tray at and how much? Only need to redo my dads old shotgun barrels. Thanks for the incoming info
