I had been kicking the idea of building a rack for my tacoma that could serve as a calling rack, winch mount, and hauling rack; so with a little time the last week I headed to shop. I had a good start with a previously constructed headache rack so the plan was to build the back section and deck that could bolt to the front. The ladder to the deck will also serve as extra bracing for the winch support.

The current winch is a little overkill but is removable with standard 2" receiver tube. So far this feature has been very useful I will probably eventually get a smaller 1500# ATV winch instead.

The deck has 6 peg holes for 1-4 hunters I used 1" bolts to build my kill seats around.

Seats are quickly removable and customizable to the number of hunters we have. The first two seats have the standard padded base rest but I plan on building the next ones threaded for bog clamp type bases.

Overall I'm pleased with the rack so far, hopefully the wind will subside the next few days and we'll be able to chase a few varmints and get a few kills!
