        The pecan tree was from Bastrop and supposedly was the 10th largest in Texas

              Count rings per inch and extrapolate the age from that.

              That should make some highly sought after timbers and boards.

                Maybe i missed it but where will you be selling the wood at? Be nice to have some of those weird pieces for a project sometime.

                      I guess there are some things more beautiful than Texas pecan wood, but it is a mighty short list. Those colors and pattern are amazing.

                            That's a trophy pecan.
                            Be sure to seal up the ends or it'll end up splitting pretty bad, I found out the hard way.
