I've wanted a jet sled since the start of hunting season and I finally got one.
The last time I went hunting on public land, the water was knee deep at the marked spot which made for a miserable hunt. I had the idea that I could double the sled as a layout blind in situations like that or when cover is scarce.
Being the cheap-o that I am, I wanted to do this with minimal expense and recycling materials that I had handy. This is what I came up with:
Materials:
2 Allen's Treestand umbrellas (Bought on clearance for ~$5)
1 Game Winner Max 5 leafy blind material ($12.99)
4'- 1/2" PVC
2 PVC Tees
4- 3/4" pipe clamps
Velcro strips
