                  Rebar was simply used for positional guides. Found them to be inaccurate and replaced with wood. When finished they drop out and thrown away. Traditionally, I think wood was used. So meh...

                        Thank you! It is a nice refuge, and it has such thermal mass, that it is naitively 9 degrees (F) cooler in Summer and 9d warmer in winter. However, the flaw I found and haven't yet resolved is light. I designed it without windows for security and stability (~2 tones of masonry roof) and the skylights aren't enough at dark. Legally can't run power in there, so I've put in some LED camping lights.
