Pallet wood floor lamp

We needed a rustic floor lamp for our house. Looked up and down across the internet and found nothing. So now you are witnessing my $11 floor lamp. The $11 was for the lamp kit on amazon. Used a combo of oak and cedar pallets from work. Pulled a lamp shade off an old lamp in the closet and 30min later we have a floor lamp!! I thing it turned out great and it serves it’s purpose. Also the wife likey.

looks good. I was going build some things from pallets until I tried to break a few down....lol now I get rough cut wood at one of the sawmills around here if I want a rustic look

Long bi-metal blade and a sawzall makes it easy. You can break one down in about 1-2min. Assuming you wanna keep the nail heads in the boards.
