That’s a well done job! I’ve been looking at these stock painting threads looking to paint my Rem stock. Too nervous I’ll mess it up!!

First of all to the OP.... well done! That looks better than factory IMOP.

Secondly, there is NOTHING to be nervous about.....it's easy to do.....and kinda' cool in the end.

Here's mine.....B&C synthetic stock given to me for my 700 nearly 30 years ago. Obviously I sprayed matte clear coat (didn't want ANY shine) on mine, and NOT enough coats. There is wear through where I place my left hand in the rifle.....but very little. It's held up really well through some pretty rough use. I don't think it's nearly as good as the OP's, but, I think it looks a lot better than B&C black and has held up for many, many years.
