Last few years it seems I’ve been on a kick of finding a lightly used ATV or UTV for a good deal, then customizing it to make it mine and then flipping it after a year or two and doing it all over again. Found a gem in this 2009 Honda Foreman 500 with 153 hours and garage kept by a perfectionist.

Fist thing I did was build a higher ball hitch to pull my quad trailer at the right height width. Finished the stiffner arm on that today so it’s all complete.

Next, I upgraded the 10 year old factory tires to 6ply Sedona Buzzsaw’s and added 1.5” spacers to the rear for a little more stability for the west TX hills and thorns. I kept factory size tires to give it more of a standard stance and look.

I then extended the rear rack for a cargo box as well as tweaked the front rack to fit a small light bar as well as added some expanded metal. I’m having them covered in bedliner. I learned a while back that when you paint stuff black and then have it bedlined, they miss spots. If you paint it white or light grey, they always coat it perfectly.

More to come soon.....
