Rattling antlers

Hey TBH, I’m looking for some nice ideas for tying a nice pair of shed antlers I found last weekend to use them for rattling during deer season.

I know there’s a bunch of YouTube videos of eye bolts and bungee chords, but this is the first nice matching set I’ve found and would like to get some ideas using some leather or parachord.

Looking forward to seeing some crafty work!

I attached mine together with flat braided leather cord. Then wrap the bases with gel bike handlebar tape from your local bike shop. It takes the vibration out while smashing them together.

Let’s see the sheds.
I didn’t go all out. Cut brows flush with beam. Ground all sharp edges down.
Drilled a hole thru each base. Then ran a leather boot lace thru
the bases. But for a twenty years all good. Amazing they still sound lifelike and not too dry.

Here’s mine that I did from my first buck taken off my property in December. I still intend to cut the tips off the tines and round them off to keep from impaling myself but I haven’t been able to bring myself to do it yet.
