Krivoman (or shell type) platform builds

This thread will serve as a dual purpose thread. I will be picking up stuff to build a platform for my new Krivoman this weekend. I will document the process as I go just for fun.

Also I would like for people to post up their builds past or current for everyone to see and maybe even copy! Now I know what you are thinking. . . . But I already have my schematic in mind and know how I will build mine so no I won't be using anything posted here. But for others, why re-invent the wheel right??

I’ve got a couple in process right now to put out in the next few months. I’ve got one that I did a couple of years ago that I love. Improved upon that design a bit with the new platforms. I also have one that Mitch did for 10’ elevation. My others that I did / am doing are 5’ elevation.

I’m a fan of these blinds and I love em elevated.

Here’s my Krivoman shell.

82” wood floor circle on a 5ft 10” square platform on 15” legs. That way it slides in on most trailers and can strap down on the corners for easy
hauling/moving.

Those are perfect IMO. I had 2 - 4' tall wooden platforms and plan to go taller and metal this year.

I’m really liking it on the platform. I was hunting out of mine for a long time with it just on the ground without a floor. I liked how easy the shell was to move around.

It’s pretty much at its permanent spot now so, I decided it was time for the platform.
