6x8 rifle blind plans

Did a search and what I found was too old and pictures didn't work anymore. I have a 8x8 2x12 platform currently in place and want to build a 6x8 blind on it. How are y'all doing roofs on weatherproof blinds? Don't plan on buying a case of foam in a can.

I did 3/4 ply felt paper and shingles on mine along with a drip edge. Not long enough to know how it will last but working perfect so far.

tin or shingles should be waterproof....

I have a 6x8 blind and ran 2x4's for roof trusses with a 2 inch drop front to back. I attached 1x4's laying flat across the 2x4's and put sheet metal for the roof. Used those self tap sheet metal roof screws to attach metal to the 1x4's. Metal roof will last virtually forever.
