Thermacell won't ignite? Easily fixable.

I tried this and it fires up first push of the button now, but now the shut off switch wont engage....to turn it off I have to physically take out the butane canister. Any ideas???

When you reassembled, did you make sure the white plastic lever was aligned correctly with/on the black button? Sounds like the lever is not retracting. I also added a dab of lithium grease to make it slide easier.

Is there a loose piece rattling around inside? If so, that might be a piece of the burner element broken off. I don't think that is fixable.
