the other tread "Bow Holder?" I used 2". However, I am going to use 1 1/2 on my next one. 1 1/2" is half the weight.

Isn't your bow sitting backward???? It looks like the base would be going the other way, if your bow is in the holder that way???????????????????

I am in the process of building a stand out of pvc, and that caught my eye!!

Maybe you have already experimented with it???????

I was thinking the same thing about the base. Looks like it would support it better the other way....but then again it is an aggie stand.
