I'm starting to dabble in woodworking now that I have more time on my hands and came across this thread a while back. There are some really great ideas and shop setups here.
Not to hijack the thread but figured there are quite a few woodworkers here who would have the most experience with various tools. I have a couple of older routers (Craftsman and B&D) but I'm looking for a combination fixed/plunge router. What is everyone's go-to router? Brand? Compact/Full size? etc.

2 battery powered ridgid trim routers, festool 1400 and a big ridgid.
The big Ridgid lives in the router table, the festool is a plung router but also runs on the track so that is used for dados and such.
The two trim routers get used more than anything for roundovers and suchLast edited by mmoses; 09-21-2020, 03:50 PM.
