Where to Buy Argon/CO2 in North Fort Worth.

Thinking of moving from Flux Core to using gas. I'm in Keller, tx and do not yet own a cylinder. Any suggestions on somewhere close I can buy one and get it filled?

Ft. Worth Welding Supply is by far one of the cheaper and more dependable places in Ft. Worth to get supplies. You will pay almost 2.5-3 times as much using Airgas, Metro Plex Welding Supply, Tri-gas, or other big names. They sell and service new and used equipment at very reasonable rates too. Just call and ask what a bottle of gas goes for from any of the other companies and compare. You will become a costumer.

I don't work for them. Just something I've noticed after welding for over 30 years at a "lot" of different places around here. They got my business after getting the $$$ shaft too many times from the other companies. Fair prices, great sales, great service, and open on Saturdays too.

You'll never go back to flux core. I had resigned to the thought that I was just a terrible welder when I was using flux core. MIG makes seeing your work much, much easier.

Stay away from airgas, they are higher than a kite. I used to refill my bottle in Denton at Three L welding until we moved to sunset for $35/bottle. There is a local airgas in Bowie that wanted $75 for the same thing.
