What size wire is that on the bottom? I recommend not going bigger than 1/2 x 1, this will allow the droppings to fall through but still allow them to stand without getting sore feet. It may just be the angle but that looks bigger than 1/2 x 1.

Of course, if you use the rabbit grate they will be on that most of the time anyway.

Got it all finished up today . Ended up having to put some little chickens in it . Had 7 day old chicks given to me and had 15 or so egg hatch out last night and today .

We used to have to move the pens around on Sundays for my mother in Law ; to allow the " fertilizer " to go to different areas . I always said if I ever build pens from scratch again I will put wheels on it
