License plate holder for trailer

I got tired of bending and breaking my license plate on my boat trailer while going in and out of my driveway. Even lost a few over the years in the lake. So I made a couple and have had people ask me about them while at the lake. I made a couple of more. Sorry I don't have a pic of it on the trailer but here is what it looks like. What do you think?

Great idea that should solve most problems. I've had my plate tear off a time or too at the ramp. How much are they? Please pm me info Thanks!

Looks great! Ive done several with a hinged piece like that. Are they pop riveted together? Thats what it looks like on what im seeing but I cant tell. My only concern that I would say as far as doing it that way was that if you were to pinch it, you could break those off.

Looks great, should last as long as the trailer does!

They are spot welded together. Made with stainless steel and stainless hinge.
