I have a question for some of you DIY guys, would it be Beyer to use a full sheet of plywood and make one table or cut that sheet in half and make 2 tables?

Personal preference...I've seen it done both ways. Storage may even be easier with 4x4s.

I've seen some tables and bars at restaurants with a real thick clear coating...looks almost like glass. Wonder what that stuff is?

I used this stuff from lowes. Cheaper than the other stuff. One kit did two coats on a 36"x 36" table. If worried about a smooth finish pour SLOW waterproof and after 3 years looks like the day I applied it.

Just don't attach them. That's how I plan do do mine. You can have the "lip" just to keep the fresh bugs corralled and on the table while being consumed and then lift the trays, push all the leftover shell, heads and junk into the trash cans.
