Old thread, but well worth the re-visit.

Coated the steel skid base with rust encapsulator primer today. Will go back and top coat in a few weeks.

Got the base painted in flat black. Will go back later and break up with light Camo pattern just because that’s what I do.

Getting tired of climbing into this blind the hard way. Welded a step together last night that I can bolt onto the metal frame in the field.

Step installed and base finished.
