    Wood Slab for mount?

Looking to combine my 3 bow kill euros into one piece. Thinking about doing a nice slab of wood like the one shown below. Anybody know a good place to buy something like this?

            Where you at?

I've got a couple pieces of this old post left over. Granted they need to be sanded...

Just curious, what do you use to make yours really shiny like that? I bought a Polyurethane clear coat, spray, but it's really dull!

Great question. I would love to make a few of these myself.

Tung Oil is what I use on my cedar. Keeps it shiny. Need a few coats

The fella who cut the post for me makes mantles and such from cedar. He suggested sanding sealer so that's what I went with. I will say I sanded on it for 2 or 3 days (by hand) and went to 220 grit. Then sealed and sanded and sealed again. I was going to cut it straight but wife wanted to knarly end for her fallow

OP in my haste I didn't see you wanted this for 3 deer. I'd check with a saw mill (of you had trees in midland lol) for some scrap they don't want. I could have got some larger pieces for dirt cheap from the guy I used.
