A re handle and clean up for a Tbhr

Had a thbr contact me wanting some of his grandmothers old kitchen knives remanded and sharpened. They were pretty rough to start with but now there are 3 razor sharp kitchen knives. 2 of them are Iron wood and the hidden tang is African Blackwood.
    Thanks Anthony

I have know idea how old they are. They were actually in my great grandfathers shop when he passed and my grandparents cleaned everything out his shop and stored his stuff in their garage. I found them a while back and they said I could have them. Just thought I would be neat to have them usable again and give them back to my grandma. No telling when he got the knifes or what he actually used them for. But if I had to guess knowing him, he probably cut up fishing bait with them lol

I've heard that brand is made of good steel. Never had any though. Are you surprising grandma, or does she know about it.

                        Surprising her.

Don't know much about knife steel but they seemed pretty solid. They are some big knives.

I would guess probably late 1800's or early 1900's on the really worn one the 2 with names probably early to mid 1900's they are pretty old.
