    Need to add a driveway

Need to drop some rock for a driveway. What do you recommend for a base and top? Its going to need to be about 300ft long

Crushed concrete? limestone? How thick should I go?

Any one on here sell bulk materials?

Base is always the best of a base and then a 1-2" crushed rock on top. I have that at my house and farm and it holds up really good. I'm not sure what kinda ground you are on but I'm on black dirt and I have about 1' foot of material across it some places might be 16-18". Hope this helps out

We have road base material with crushed rock on top. I have about 500-600 yards of it and it is good if the road base is mixed properly. If done right you shouldn't have to do much maintenance for several years.

For our base we used drilling mud. It works really well, packs like concrete and doesn't wash out, its also really cheap too. We got it from inland environmental, and they recommend 4-6 inches.

We do alot of roads in this area. I like crushed concrete or limestone base topped with washed rock or milled asphalt.

What is the best way to handle a low muddy spot? Bull rock?

We use caliche about 4 to 6 inches thick as a base. Worked well for sandy type of dirt
