Here's the design using flap hinges. The only true issue I see having is separating the motor off the transom. Which in this case this motor is so small I think it's kind of a none issue but the ability would be nice.

Also if somebody could tell me how to keep my images from uploading sideways that'd be great! Haha

So I bumped into a problem last night....I made my transom mount just a tad too small. Stupid me. The square tubing is 4"x6" and I made the mount 5 15/16ths....

So I rebuilt it today, same design just wider at 7". I was going to have it cnc machines but I got some scrap metal for $10 from a welding shop. If you ever need plates or parts of sheets check welding shops! You can pick it up cheap!

Just an update I haven't had time to work on it. Duck call business is slowing down and I need to build it and sell it to fix up my new boat I got. So updates will be added over the next week or so.

Figured out it was easier/cheaper to just go buy one?

I would think so, I've had a few and I honesty don't want any part in building one

Nah just haven't had time! I bought another boat I'm trying to fix up and get ready for duck season, it's just about a complete gut. But after I run out of money and am done with that I'll get to working on it again.

Really if you can buy the hinges instead of making them you could build one in a weekends time.

But I do wish somebody made a prefabbed kit using a worm gear. Would be heck of a lot easier to build.
