I had a buddy who started a project of a blind made from a big poly liquid tank that had cracked. He made a big octagon base for it, but never made it any further tan that.
Fast forward a few years, I snatched the octagon base, which measures 8.5' across. I was able to find an old NH3 wagon chassis, throw some tires on it, then mount the big octagon on top.
I added a little platform off the back, plus some brace stands on the front end, which will hopefully be enough to sturdy it up.
My plan it to made the back wall straight across, with a 30" wide door in the middle. It'll be 7' tall in the front, then 6' tall in the back. The other 5 matching sides will end up being about 42" across.
I doubt I'll be hunting out of it this season, so progress might be slow. However, I'll post updates as I go along
