How much do you think you have in this boat? Where did you get the fiberglass and resin from?

I don't know what it weighs. I can pick it up by myself, but it's a PITA. Mainly because of bulk, not just weight. However, I added 3 foot on the standard hybrid for the dog box and hunt deck. That adds a lot of length and weight. If I was doing it again, I would still have the dog box (although maybe slightly smaller) but maybe skip the hunt deck behind it. Yes, this is good for ponds, rivers, lakes, marshes, rice fields, etc. If I had a four wheeler, I would take it to my duck lease in Lissie and tow it out for a layout blind. It's just too heavy to drag by hand though, unless I want to walk in through the water and float it. There are many people on refuge forums that have beefed up transoms and small outboards or long tails with good results. Here it is brushed in on the river last year. I haven't hunted out of it this season yet.

Nice build! No need to build a new one for a heavier transom; that's the beauty of stitch and glue boats, just add what you need later!
I've been building a 16 footer for a few years now, life gets in the way. But it is a modified Garvey design from Jaques Martin. I'll finish it one of these years.
