    Diy deer hanger

Not really sure what you call them, but I just bought a piece of land butting up to the tensas nation refuge and Louisiana and needed something to clean a deer. See these in the store, Click image for larger version

So I decided to build one like it.
I found a piece of heavy wall 1" stainless pipe(way overkill) drilled a few holes, had some cable laying around and finished it up. Ended up making 5 of them.

Not real sure how they will work but hoping October 1st I will find out.
If anyone has used one like this let me know how they work

    I bet yours works better.
Those aluminum compression fittings they have will slip and drop your harvest eventually.

Good job, only thing on yours is maybe it needs just a little bit more cable for slack. Other then that. I like it.

I think there was a TBHer that designed the original one....or did their own DIY version.

Not sure what crimps they are using but the kenco crimps I use on my high tensile fence is rated for 1600psi

I dont have the crimp tool and cable clamps were cheaper than those fittings so that is what I went with. Cost me about $3 to make just because I bought the clamps.
