Box blind sizes

I have read several threads. I understand the advantages of less cutting on a 4x8 blind, but what is everyone's opinion on the best size for a two person box?

I am about to build two for the upcoming season and need it to be comfortable for me and my daughter. One will be strictly rifle the second I may add some verticals windows for an archery option. Comfort is most important. My daughters are young and want to be able to sit and enjoy with them. Thanks for the input.

4×6 is plenty big enough

I did a 4x6 last year, and it would accommodate 2 office chairs, and two adults

4x6 is plenty for two adults. I built 6 a couple years ago. I also built some 6x8's. They're too big with two adults.

5x6 is a good size for two people and equipment

Haha mine is 8x8x7tall. About to put two recliners in it!

4X6 is plenty. Built a 6x8 last year and its overkill. Then again it could serve as a bunk house too.

I do mine 5x5 that seems plenty for me and the wife.

I think for bow hunting it needs to be a 6x6. 30" draw plus stabilizer plus elbow makes a really tight 4'. You could probably get away with 5x5 if you wanted smaller though. Maybe go by the appliance store and ask for a refrigerator box or two and make a mock stand and see what you like

6x6 is bowhunting perfection...especially if you ever want a second person in there with you to film, or a guest or kids. ...you can get by with 4x with a rifle but I wouldn't hunt out of a 4x anything with my bow.
