You could make a spectre!!!
It might weigh 300lbs and be able to survive a direct nuclear hit...but you could make one!!
I'm sure I saw some spare box tubing and trunk lid from an edsel in one of your pics... you could totally do this!

Just hold the hood down with a bungee cord. The gap will allow more air flow to the motor for some super horsepower gains
