        Do they pull them out to check, or require to inspect the hole before concrete?

          You have two choices
          1. Hire a pier drilling company to come do it for you
          2. Post hole digger, digging bar and jackhammer and get after it.

            The electric coop requires a 5 foot depth and the copper rod has to be sunk in as well. I tried bending the copper rod and shoving it sideways and it didn't pass inspection. No matter were I relocate within the immediate area, we've got caliche all around. I'm getting to build another place in Starr County. Thanks to all. I'm justing going to have use my jimmy rigged auger to git'r done.
