Our Sunday School class "lunch bunch" had a New Year's get-together yesterday and I passed out all the "goodies" to the ladies (and one single guy). Been working on them since first part of bow season.
First one is white oak and walnut--and obviously to a Baylor grad.
2nd one is Texas Ebony (thanks Terry) and Arkansas white oak--
Frame on this one came from salvaged organ pedals on an old organ that we disposed of. Also has end-grain mesquite parquet, walnut, and maple.
This one is solid mesquite:
These are trivets or hot pads from mesquite end-grain parquet. Made them for the lady that makes the best tomatillo sauce in Texas!!
