    Single Axle Jeep Trailer Build

I started building my single axle jeep trailer today. I know, I know. It's not multipurpose. I have plenty of trailers. BUT I haul my Jeep to the ranch just about every weekend I'd like something small to keep at home and easy to pull. After searching the web I came across this idea and decided to give it a try. Should be pretty cool when finished. Thought Ya'll might want to follow along.

Will Look similar to this when I'm finished. You get the idea anyway.

Nice! Athough I HATE smalll trailers, I just built my jeep and want to take it to and from my ranch. This looks great as I have nowhere to park my goosenecks at my house. Definitely seems better than flat towing. Looking forward to seeing final product!

That's the idea. I'v been flat towing and it scares me to death. And not so small of a trailer. Overall it will be about 14-15 or so feet.

That's really neat, in to follow the build along.
Just not sure I understand the benefit of this vs a 12'-14' Dbl axle that's the same size and just as easy to drag around but with the benefit of using for other things.

I already have other trailers. The single axle will allow me to man handle it and push it around myself with a wheel jack. It's hard to move around a tandom.

Following. I tow my jeep to the lease but I would like to see how this comes out.

Fair enough, should be a neat project.

Pretty slick idea. The jeep in the OP is even slicker!

On another note how does one load the jeep on the trailer? I assume hook it to tow vehicle and drive it on?
