Goals - 1. coon and hog proof 2. capability to fill from ground 3. maximize use of on hand materials to minimize cost. 4. easily transportable
Overall, a huge success from my perspective. It is easily transported since it separates easily - base from barrel. Additionally, I welded on rings so it can be towed on the skids.
Total cost was $90. The largest expense was the horse panel, which was $65. However, I can make at least 3 more with remaining portion. Paint, brushes and bolts made up the balance. Otherwise, I had the angle iron and tubing leftover from another project. Feeder unit was re-purposed from a bucket feeder.
