3D Archery Cart From Jogging Stroller...

I picked this jogging stroller up for cheap at a garage sale. I've been wanting to make something to carry my gear at various 3D shoots. I've seen several ladies pushing kids in the strollers at a few shoots, so I figured why not fab one out to carry "my baby" on.

I stripped the cloth, suncap screen/wire, and the hand brake off of it and started messing with it. Tried the larger rectangle wire milk crate, but it just didn't handle/look right, so I settled for a standard milk crate to keep my rain poncho/jacket/first aid kit & such in.

I picked up a basket at a flea market that my cooler sits in and it actually fit like a glove. Picked up some atv bow holders from Walmart a put them in place. They had the little holder straps, but one broke and caused me to hit myself in the mouth.....so yeah, the other one got removed too. Cut a couple of 1 1/4" pieces of pvc to length for my arrows, capped them top/bottom & drilled 5 holes in each to make 'em "pretty", painted 'em and zip-tied them in place.

I'm gonna fab a scorecard board from a piece of aluminum and secure it to the middle of the handle with an adel clamp......or maybe not. Just have to see how it looks/feels once I've got it made/mounted.

I've got a spot for an umbrella, I just didn't have it in place when I took the pics.

Everything balances really nice and handles great on the paths.

So, what say ye Greenscreen Brethren???

Great 3D rig right there. You need all that because it takes y'all a long time to get through a course.

Nothing wrong with that set up!!! With a little more engineering you can carry your climber and also convert it into a game cart!!! A do all cart!

Now that is one of the best ideas I have seen in a long time! Can the stool be mounted in such a way that you can leave it attached to the cart and just pop it open to sit on it while it is still on the cart? Saves time in replacing it each time you pack up to move to the next station I'm thinking..
              Awesome tho!

That's pretty slick. I like the idea.

I haven't been able to figure a way for the stool to stay attached w/out putting unnecessary weight on the cart. Once I get back to work next week, I'm gonna fab something to make putting the stool back onto the cart a little simpler.

thanks! I have another cart frame/wheels if someone is interested in making one for themselves.

looks great! I'm not sure how that would work for my target bow set up, though. 27" stabilizer, and 38" Axel to Axel bow.

On the chair attachment - could you maybe attach it to the side to where you could sit on it while attached? Since the chair really is only needed for sitting, maybe you could rig up a flip down seat with legs that pivot out as you flip down the seat?

That's great! Lots of people use them for 3 gun and rifle matches too.

It looks nice for flat land, but don't think I'd like to carry it over the Austin Archery Club's 3D range.
