Step LED's for my truck

I researched somewhere that the Ford Superduty has factory plugs on both sides of the frame and energize when the doors are opened or the remote is used to unlocked. It's by the side step mounting bracket closest to the rear wheel. I found the two plugs and checked with a volt meter and confirmed it. After searching the internet I found out that the "Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles" I bought them from ebay for $5 and a 5 meter strip of LED's for $13. Finished product!!!

I think it turned out very well. I may tweak it a little in the future.

here is what the strip looks like. I got it from eBay as well. $13 for 16ft.

Ok, I have seen those, how did you stick it to the frame??

The have a 3M adhesive on them. Just clean the site well and stick pretty good.

Should be on all superduty 2011 and up... I think
