BBQ Smoker Redo.

Decided I would track my progress for a smoker redo.

Picked up this smoker on a trailer from highspeed. Great guy BTW!

Starting putting the grinder with a wire brush to it yesterday.

The plan is to sandblast the pit and trailer. Cut a new door on the firebox, fix a hinge on the door, and repaint the whole thing. Deck the trailer and add a propane burner for a disk cooker!

New smoke stack and new a side opening fire box door.

I am going to start cutting on monday

Smoke stack is off. Old hinges are gone. Old fire box door is off.

Time to start adding the new stuff.

Looking good so far. I will be following along. I have a smaller smoker that is a couple years old that I will be redoing and may steal you hatchet handle idea.
