Sausage smoker

Decided to take an old water tank to build a smoker for sausage and jerky today. It's a little more than needed, but I am a cheap skate and hate spending money on stuff like this.

Tank is 36" dia by approx 5.5' tall.

Did not realize how thick this material was. My family will still be using this thing when sapling redwoods are about to die in 3000 years! Or use it for a bomb shelter!!!

No clue on weight, but it will require a forklift to move around. Tank is 5/16 thick. I used a miller 625 plasma cutter to cut out door.

Got latch and draft stack on today. All that's left is making tubes for rods to swivel in.
