The mysterious disappearing hog. I had one in the trap after several attempts to catch one. One second he's there....then he's gone. Looks like he was able to work the door open a little and then squeeze out. The spring was all stretched out and messed up. Gotta upgrade.

Really digging my new hog light. Comes on dim at dark and then when it detects motion gets brighter. I was sitting in a box stand 75 yards away and could see through a cheapie scope. It was raining pretty good all day and I don't think the battery got a good charge. Started flickering after an hour or so and I called it a night.

And ya got critters just waiting to get in that trap too.
I'd use a spring that you can just barly pull open. Maybe even have to use a pry-bar or cheater bar to set it open. Don't skemp on the spring. They will find a way to pry it open if they can. That should help.

Congrats to your brother. Shot a doe with the bow, but pretty slow all the way around. Been whacking the hogs as of lately.
