Don't feel bad, this year is the first favorable year for planting anything. In the last 3 years I have lost 15 acres of sprigged hay field and 10 oak trees I planted.

I just went through this whole thread again and you've really done a lot of work. You have a beautiful place and earned every bit of it.

This wife and I really love our place (LZ Hideout).

I didn't realize your birthday was the 8th. Happy belated birthday and many more to come.

The 8th was my mother's birthday also but just a few years earlier than you. She'd be 95 this year.

Man y'all are an August bunch too. My mother's was the 8th, my mother in law's is the 9th, my father's was the 21st (he'd be 100 this year), my son's is the 22nd and my grandson's is the 18th.
