    Wood cutouts from my CNC

Just finished up putting some clear laquer on some cutouts. Used my home made CNC machine. Think they turned out fairly well.

This is the machine I made to do it all. I plan on machining some lowers soon.

Nice, what type if programming does it use?

Very nice. My dad and I are making a router table too.

Depending on what I am drawing I either use Autocad or Inventor. I use Cambam to make the G-code and tool paths. Then I use Mach3 to run the G-code.

so, you can do some "tweeking" on some lowers?

Looks like a CNC Router Parts kit. Is that what it is? If so, what do you think about it? I'm looking at one of those for my shop.

Depends on what the tweeking consists of.

Most of it from a CNC parts kit. I did make it a little different than if you bought it as a whole kit. I like it a lot it is very addicting. I made a part out of aluminum and it was supposed to be 5.00" width and the digital calipers I have say that it is 4.999". So it seems to be very accurate. Im still learning my feeds and speeds and what endmills are best to use.

If you are not familiar with cnczone.com you should check it out. You can learn all sorts of stuff there.
