    DIY Motion Duck Decoy

I was playing around on the internet and found a link that showed how to make a DIY Motion decoy. I had all the stuff that was needed so, ill show you how it did it.

    1. take a duck decoy
    2. cut a square hole in the top
    3. get one of those weasel balls (from cracker barrel)
    4. fill inside of decoy with newspaper but leave just enough roon for the ball to fit in
    5. put ball in and turn on

I have used the wobblers or shacker butt in the past and this was a cheap way to add more movement to my spread.

I put it in the bath tub and it shakes the water quite a bit. I'll post the YouTube video of someone else using it in their spread.

I made 4 and put them on the corners of my spread this morning and they are shaking the water quite a bit. They are giving the rest of the spread movement.

This works well, spray foam filler works well...or a big sponge with a hole cut out. I also screw a piece of plastic on the flap to act as a latch on the cut flap

Great idea. Much more cost efficient than the $200 ones sold in stores. May have to give this a shot

I did the same years ago when I was duck hunting more. What I did was cut the hold on 3 sides. Flip it open and use a small screw to attach the ball to the flap. This holds the ball up in the top of the decoy and really makes it shake.
